Liju Oommen is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software architecture and digital strategy, currently serving as Director of Personalization and Recommendation Systems at Kaiser Permanente since May 2000. Oommen has spearheaded the development of hyper-personalization platforms, AI/ML models, and digital experience capabilities, while driving Kaiser's Consumer Digital Strategy and leading architecture for robust omni-channel applications. Previous roles include Principal Architect and Development Manager, focusing on secure application development and system design. Early career experience includes software engineering positions at organizations such as Rapidigm, the State of Oregon, and ITT London & Edinburgh. Liju Oommen holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Portland State University and is enhancing expertise through a recent program in Data Science and Machine Learning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
