Nick Mattos

Nick Mattos is an experienced professional with a diverse background in faculty relations, event management, and writing. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Faculty Relations and Senior Manager of Festivals & Events at The Shift Network since January 2020, Nick has also held positions including Faculty Recruitment and Engagement Manager. A freelance writer from March 2009 to June 2021, Nick's work has been published in notable outlets such as the Guardian and El Hispanic News. Nick’s extensive experience as a yoga teacher spans various styles and lineages, complemented by a background in public relations, social media management, and executive assistance. Currently pursuing a Master of Social Welfare at the University of California, Berkeley, Nick holds a BA in Communications and Sociology of Religion from The Evergreen State College.
