Rakiaya Mixon

Rakiaya Mixon, LCSW, currently serves as an Inpatient Psychiatric Case Manager and Medi-Cal Liaison at Kaiser Permanente since June 2024. Prior to this role, Rakiaya worked at Bay Area Community Services as a Clinical Program Supervisor from June 2021 to June 2024, overseeing an outpatient mental health program and providing support in staffing and resource coordination. Previous experiences include serving as a Clinical Director and Mental Health Clinician at Turning Point Community Programs, where Rakiaya was responsible for clinical supervision and assisting community members with urgent mental health needs. Rakiaya holds a Master of Social Work from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from California State University-Sacramento.
