Jeni Baruah

Jeni Baruah is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program leadership and education initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Program Leader at Piramal Foundation since June 2019, Jeni specializes in building collaborative partnerships among various stakeholders to enhance the life chances of individuals in Baksa district. Previously, Jeni worked as a Program Leader at Piramal Foundation, focusing on strengthening governance and community action to improve educational indicators in Dhubri, Assam. Jeni's earlier role as an Education Professional with the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana involved mobilizing and counseling over 1500 rural youths in Assam for skill training. Additionally, experience as an ITE Facilitator with a project funded by TATA Trusts emphasized fostering digital citizenship and bridging the educational digital divide. Jeni holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Gauhati University, a Diploma in ICT and Education from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, an MBA from Sikkim University, and a Master of Arts in Sociology from Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University.
