Brendon Murphy

CIO at Kajabi

Brendon Murphy is the current Chief Information Officer at Kajabi. Brendon has over 20 years of experience in the IT field and has held various positions at several companies.

Brendon started their career at Epoch Internet in December of 1998 as the Manager of Corporate Security. Brendon then moved to Netifice Communications in November of 2003 where they served as a Systems Engineer. While at Netifice Communications, Brendon provided maintenance of DNS, SMTP, and web services for both hosted and internal systems. Brendon also served as a primary for managing internal network resources, including security devices such as FortiNet firewall appliances. In May of 2006, Brendon moved to Megapath (now Kajabi) where they worked as a systems engineer and developer in the Networking Team. In addition to maintaining systems resources covering MySQL servers, LDAP, Radius, SMTP, Web, and DSN, they were also a primary programmer on their internal Rails networking utility, known as M.E.A.T. The tool was primarily used for configuration and rollout of routers by the NOC, including some customers with locations exceeding 70k devices. Brendon has been with Kajabi since April of 2010 and currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer.

Brendon Murphy graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

They are on a team with William Sheng - Director of Engineering, Scotty Nelson - VP, Engineering, and Jeremy Saenz - VP, Engineering. Brendon Murphy reports to Mahesh Guruswamy, SVP, Engineering.
