Marika Hein

Marika Hein has a diverse work experience in the field of User Experience Research. Marika started their career as a Research Assistant at Northeastern Illinois University in May 2012. Later, they worked as a Research Assistant at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, they also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan - School of Information.

Marika gained practical experience through internships at Reflexion Health as a UX Research Intern from July 2016 to April 2017, and at Aspire Inc. as a User Experience Research Intern from June 2018 to August 2018. Marika then joined Parent Lab Inc. as a Junior Research Associate from August 2018 to January 2019.

Marika'sprofessional growth continued as they worked as a UX Research Assistant at Google via Artech Information Systems from January 2019 to March 2020, and at realtor.com as a User Experience Researcher from March 2020 to June 2020. Marika later joined Google again, this time via Synergis, as a UX Research Assistant from January 2021 to present.

Currently, Marika holds the position of UX Researcher at Kajabi since August 2021. Marika'sdiverse experiences have helped their develop a strong skill set in conducting research and analyzing user experience.

Marika Hein completed their bachelor's degree in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2016. After that, they pursued a Master of Science in Human Factors from San Jose State University, which they completed in 2020. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Marika attended the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools for high school from 2008 to 2012.
