Andrew Jinkwang Sohn

Andrew Jinkwang 손진광 Sohn is a skilled Machine Learning Engineer with extensive experience in various companies, including Kakao Enterprise since June 2022, where expertise in developing and operating Kubeflow and managing data fabric platforms has been demonstrated. Prior to this role, Andrew contributed to Lotte Shopping's e-commerce division by building MLOps using AWS Sagemaker and implementing multi-modal product similarity modeling. Previous positions include work with Gangnam District Government and as a Sr. ML/DL Engineer at Yogiyo, where Andrew specialized in machine learning pipelines and image processing. Andrew's career began in development roles at Cheil PengTai and other organizations, with a strong emphasis on machine learning and software engineering. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Korea University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.
