Yungwan Hwang

Yungwan Hwang is a data scientist currently working at Kakao Style since January 2023, focusing on the Recommendation & Personalization Team. Prior experience includes roles at GreenLabs, where Yungwan conducted data analysis of wholesale market transactions for Korean agricultural products and developed a time series forecasting model. At Toss Securities, Yungwan was responsible for developing a data pipeline for service indicator tracking through app user logs. Yungwan also served as a data analyst at Yogiyo, analyzing the effectiveness of marketing promotions and creating a restaurant recommender for app-based personalization marketing. Yungwan holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Myongji University, completed in 2018.
