Clément Walter

Clément Walter has a diverse work experience. Clément most recently worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Kakarot zkEVM starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they founded a company called Starksheet in May 2022, where they served as the Founder until May 2023. Clément also worked as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at IBM from October 2020 to June 2022. Clément was the Créateur de mode at Philippidès from August 2020 to June 2022. Additionally, they founded a failed startup called HandsAi from April 2020 to October 2020. Before that, they held various roles at Sicara from March 2019 to August 2020, including Lead Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer. Clément also worked as a Full Stack Developer and Lecturer at MINES ParisTech briefly in 2020. Clément started their career as a Junior Research Scientist at Lokad, Quantitative Supply Chain Optimization in February 2017. Clément also co-founded a company called Calchemise, where they served as CEO from November 2015 to February 2017. Lastly, they worked as a PHD Candidate at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives from November 2013 to October 2016, focusing on active learning with Gaussian Processes and Sequential Monte Carlo methods.

Clément Walter's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Université Paris Cité, obtained from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies and obtained a degree in Civil Engineering from Mines Paris, specializing in Geostatistics, from 2009 to 2013. Clément attended Lycée Sainte-Geneviève de Versailles from 2007 to 2009, where they focused on Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering Sciences. Clément completed their secondary education at Fénelon Sainte Marie, earning a Baccalauréat in Science from 1991 to 2007.
