Dr. Remy S Husein

Dr. Remy S Husein is a highly experienced professional with a diverse range of work experience. Dr. Remy S started their career at Mondex International, where they worked as a Team Leader and Principal Engineer, contributing to a major smart-card e-cash R&D program. Dr. Remy S then founded their own consulting firm, Silex Consulting, and subsequently took on the role of UK Representative on Technical Committee CEN/TC247 at CEN and CENELEC.

Dr. Husein later joined Invensys as a Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager, overseeing hardware and software architecture design and managing R&D teams globally. Dr. Remy S then moved on to KPMG UK, where they served as the R&D Senior Manager, and later joined Ayming as the Director of R&D Advisory.

Continuing their career in the consulting sector, Dr. Husein joined QUAERIT Consultants as a Partner. In this role, they specialized in innovation and finance, offering a range of services such as innovation finance, innovation advisory, and investment research.

Alongside their consulting work, Dr. Husein has also been involved with academic institutions. At Imperial College London, they served as an Expert-in-Residence, providing expertise in innovation commercialization. Dr. Remy S also worked as a Business Mentor for the Graduate School's "Research Impact and Influence" program, mentoring and advising post-graduate and research students on pitching their ideas for industry funding. Additionally, they served as a Judge for the Global Fellows Programme with Technical University of Munich (TUM).

Dr. Remy S Husein completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electronic Engineering from Loughborough University between 1990 and 1993. In 2004 to 2007, they pursued a part-time MBA degree in Financial Investments & Risk from Imperial College London. Later, in 2016 to 2017, Dr. Husein obtained a Post Graduate Certificate (PGCert) in Intellectual Property Law from Brunel University London.
