Laban Koima

Laban Koima is an accomplished horticulture professional with over 18 years of experience in the flower industry, currently serving as Manager of Blueberry at Kakuzi Plc since August 2018. Previously, Laban held general management positions at Zena Roses Ltd. and Agriflora Kenya Limited - Sian Roses, where responsibilities included overseeing large-scale production and a workforce of approximately 600 employees. Early in the career, Laban worked as General Manager and Project Manager at Sote Flowers Ltd., focusing on flower production and export management, followed by a role as R&D Manager at Oserian, where expertise encompassed soil chemistry and plant pathology. Laban holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from Egerton University.
