Megan Bauer

Megan Bauer is a law student at MSU College of Law, with a rich background in community engagement and advocacy. Serving as a volunteer with the Kalamazoo Community Foundation, Megan contributes to the Equality Fund Advisory Committee, providing recommendations on fund proposals. Previous experience as Director of Community Engagement at OutFront Kalamazoo involved managing partnerships with the Michigan Department of Community Health and overseeing a Tobacco Cessation budget, along with developing inclusive training programs. As Community Engagement Coordinator for Kalamazoo Gay Lesbian Resource, Megan was instrumental in amending civil rights legislation and fostering civic engagement. Educational accomplishments include a JD from Michigan State University and a BA in Political Science and German from Kalamazoo College, complemented by an international educational experience at the University of Nairobi.
