Chetan Rao

Chetan Rao has worked in the financial industry for over 14 years. In 2021, they joined Kaleidofin as Senior Vice President. From 2017 to 2021, they were Vice President at TRUST. From 2015 to 2017, they were Associate Director, Institutional Client Group at ANZ Banking Group. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2015, they were Associate Director, Large Corporate Group, Senior Manager, Criteria & Product Development, and Manager, Criteria & Product Development at CRISIL Limited. As Manager, Criteria & Product Development, they were responsible for developing criteria and credit risk assessment framework for credit ratings, identifying early warning indicators for deterioration in credit profile of companies, and developing new rating and grading products in the debt markets. Chetan also ideated and built new analytical tools for financial analysis.

Chetan Rao began their educational journey at Barretto High School from 1986 to 1998. Chetan then attended the University of Mumbai, earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from 2000 to 2004. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Welingkar Institute of Management from 2005 to 2007.
