Puneet Gupta

Puneet Gupta has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. Puneet began their career in 2001 as Chief Manager with ICICI Bank Limited, where they were responsible for creating and strengthening channels for delivery of financial services to low income households, particularly in rural areas. In 2006, they joined IFMR Trust as Co-Founder and was directly involved with the conception of the retail and the technology parts of the business in the early years. Puneet also took on roles at different operating entities as well as the group level. In 2008, they became the CEO of IFMR Ventures, a wholly owned subsidiary of IFMR Trust, where they were involved in conceptualizing the fund, its registration, raising funds and making the first few investments from the fund. In 2009, they became the CEO of IFMR Mezzanine Finance Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the IFMR Trust. In 2015, they became the Chief Financial Officer of IFMR Holdings Finance Private Limited, where their key responsibility was to create a group structure that would be more conducive to the growth of the group companies and enable better access to capital. In 2017, they co-founded Kaleidofin Private Limited.

Puneet Gupta completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from IRMA from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a B Com from Kurukshetra University from 1996 to 1999.
