Josh Tranter

Josh Tranter, PMP has a diverse work experience in the field of product development and engineering. Josh is currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Kaleidoscope Innovation and Product Design. Previously, they held various roles at Interplex Medical, including Plant Manager, Catheter Development & Manufacturing Manager, and Engineer. At Interplex Medical, they oversaw site-wide manufacturing operations, secured sales, and led the engineering team. As an engineer, they managed multiple projects from concept to design transfer and served as the lead design and manufacturing engineer. Prior to that, they worked as a Process Engineer at Boston Scientific. Josh also gained experience as a Biomedical Engineering Research Intern at the University of Kentucky, where they researched and documented the fabrication and performance of a new bone scaffold biodegradable polymer.

Josh Tranter, PMP completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2006. Josh obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2018. In addition, they also hold certifications in Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional and Total Quality Management Professional, both obtained from the Management and Strategy Institute in February 2017. Furthermore, they hold a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, although the exact institution and date of attainment are not mentioned.
