Paul Monasterio

Paul Monasterio is the CEO and co-founder of Kalepa, a leading analytics software company. Previously, they served as vice president of Applied Predictive Technologies (APT), a world-leading analytics software company that was acquired by Mastercard for $600 million in 2015. At APT, Paul led the expansion of the company's operations to Australia and New Zealand, including the opening of an office in Sydney in 2014 and the co-founding of APT's Japan office in 2013. Paul also oversaw the creation and growth of APT's global Technology and Services practice, which is responsible for team leadership, business development, growth, strategic engagements, and client success. In their role as vice president, Paul managed dozens of professionals in consulting, product, data science, sales, and marketing.

Prior to joining APT, Paul worked at Facebook as the head of strategy and measurement for monetization. In this role, they partnered with executives at some of the largest firms in technology and telecommunications to help them embed Facebook's solutions into their marketing and customer service strategies. Additionally, they led efforts to develop novel advertising measurement and optimization products powered by Facebook's unique data and technology assets.

Paul Monasterio has a Ph.D. in Nuclear Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.A.& B.S. in Mathematics and Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
