Pirjo Kytösalmi

Pirjo Kytösalmi has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries and positions. Pirjo is currently a Member of the Board of Directors at Pohjolan Osuuspankki and Pohjois-Suomen Hallituspartnerit ry. Previously, they served as Group CFO and HR at Kaleva Media, where they were responsible for finance, HR, legal issues, real estate, and the family office investment portfolio. Prior to that, they held the role of CFO/talousjohtaja at the University of Oulu and NetHawk Oyj, and worked as an Authorized Public Accountant/KHT-tilintarkastaja at Ernst & Young. Pirjo also has experience as an Auditor and IFRS specialist at Ernst & Young and KPMG. Kytösalmi began their career at Nokia as a Business Controller.

Pirjo Kytösalmi completed their Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Oulu, from 1993 to 1997. Pirjo then obtained an Authorized Public Accountant degree, also known as KHT-tutkinto, in 2007. Currently, in 2022, they are pursuing an HHJ-tutkinto from Oulun kauppakamari.
