Daniel Angkiat

Daniel Angkiat serves as a Liaison Engineer at Kalitta Air since January 2023, focusing on R&D project planning and compliance with certification standards, along with developing test setups and engineering reports for system validation. Previously, Daniel was a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Michigan, leading a team in the design of drones and conducting simulations using advanced software tools. Earlier experience includes serving as the Stability and Control Subsystem Lead during a senior design project at Saint Louis University, as well as conducting quantitative analyses of CubeSats as an Undergraduate Student Researcher. Daniel also contributed to education as a Teaching/Lab Assistant and U101 Peer Instructor. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Saint Louis University.
