Irena Antic Kellogg, PhD has a wealth of experience in research and operations. Irena began their career in 2005 as a Summer Intern at the National Institutes of Health. In 2007, they became a Research Assistant at Hood College. Irena then went on to pursue their PhD at Northwestern University, where they were an Innovation to Commercialization Fellow (I2C) from 2014-2015. During this time, they were also a Marketing Specialist at the Innovation and New Ventures Office. After completing their PhD in 2008, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University from 2015-2021. Most recently, they have been the Laboratory Operations Manager at KaliVir Immunotherapeutics since 2021.

Irena Antic Kellogg, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine between 2008 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate in Clinical and Translational Research from Northwestern University in 2013. Irena also obtained a B.A. in Biochemistry from Hood College between 2006 and 2008, and an A.A. in General Studies from Montgomery College between 2004 and 2006. In addition, they have obtained a Good Clinical Practices certification from the NIDA Clinical Trials Network in October 2016 and a Clinical Investigation Certificate.
