Peter Hecht

Peter Hecht is a distinguished leader in the biotechnology sector, co-founding and serving as CEO at Cyclerion since 2019. In addition, Peter holds a board member position at Kallyope and contributes as an advisory board member for Ariadne Labs. Previously, Peter co-founded and led Ironwood Pharmaceuticals as CEO from 1998 to 2019. Academically, Peter Hecht earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Master of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, both from Stanford University.
