Valtteri Koponen

Valtteri Koponen is an experienced logistics professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Global Logistics Sourcing at Kalmar since May 2023, responsible for leading logistics sourcing and strategy development. Prior to this role, Valtteri held various positions in logistics management, including Global Logistics Category Manager at K-Auto and SCM Manager at Xylem Inc., where responsibilities included driving global logistics strategy and operational development. Valtteri's extensive career also includes positions at Konecranes, ABB, F.H. Bertling Oy, Agility Logistics, Shipco Transport, DHL, and DB Schenker, demonstrating a strong background in logistics procurement and ocean freight management. Valtteri holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade & Logistics from Laurea Polytechnic and additional training from ABB Europe.
