Elaine Haynes has a strong educational background in the field of pharmacy. Elaine obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis in the years 1981 to 1986. After completing their undergraduate studies, Elaine pursued a Certificate Program in Nuclear Pharmacy from Mercer University's College of Pharmacy in 1988.

In addition to their degree and certificate, Elaine also achieved two certifications. Elaine became a Registered Pharmacist through the State of Missouri, Board of Pharmacy in 1986. In April 1992, they obtained the certification of Board Certified Nuclear Pharmacist from the BPS Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties.

Later in their career, Elaine furthered their education by pursuing an Executive MBA. From 2011 to 2013, they attended Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School to specialize in Business Strategy, Leadership, Growth, and Innovation.
