Benoit Paquin

Benoit Paquin has extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Benoit started their career as a Pre-sales & Tender Support Engineer at Alcatel in 1999. Benoit then joined Orange as a Senior Network Designer in 2001 and worked there until 2006. In 2006, they became a Managing Consultant at Detecon International GmbH and held the position until 2011. During this time, they also assumed the role of Head of Department - Electronics & Digital R&D at JCDecaux from 2011 to 2014. Benoit then transitioned to the position of Global Account Director at JCDecaux from 2015 to 2021. In 2021, they joined Mavenir as a Southern Europe RAN Pre-Sales, specializing in Open RAN, Cloud Native, and 5G. Currently, Benoit is working as a 5G Product Management professional at Kalray starting from 2023.

Benoit Paquin completed their education from 1998 to 2001 at IMT Atlantique, where they obtained a degree as an Ingénieur Généraliste - Diplôme Télécom Bretagne. Benoit then pursued further education at Aston University from 2000 to 2001, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Telecommunications Engineering.

In terms of professional development, Benoit attended an executive short program at HEC Paris in 2020-2021, focusing on Finance, General. Additionally, in 2010, they completed an executive short program at INSEAD, specializing in Organizational Leadership.

Apart from their educational qualifications, Benoit has obtained a certification titled "Introduction to Cloud Infrastructure Technologies" from LinuxFoundationX in April 2020.
