Jean-Luc Dormoy

Jean-Luc Dormoy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2010, they founded Vesta-System, a company specializing in software solutions for energy efficiency in building design and management. Jean-Luc also served as a senior advisor at Irene Energy, a company focused on renewable energy, starting in 2017. In 2008, they co-founded Kalray, a company that sells manycores and their programming environment. Jean-Luc served as a founding member and lead Europe of France Hub IA, starting in 2017. Jean-Luc also mentored startups at Wilco/Formerly Scientipole Initiative & Croissance, an association that funds and supports early-stage startups. Additionally, Jean-Luc was a member of the strategic committee at Medappcare, a startup offering quality labels to mobile health apps. Jean-Luc worked as a professor at Groupe ESIEA - Engineering School and served as an energy and IT advisor at EDF from 2010 to 2019. In 2015, they had a visiting role at HEC Paris. Jean-Luc's experience also includes managing home technologies at Yello Strom from 2009 to 2010.

Jean-Luc Dormoy attended Ecole Normale Supérieure de Saint Cloud from 1976 to 1981, where they studied Mathematics. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Artificial Intelligence at Pierre and Marie Curie University.
