Laurent Bouchot has a diverse range of work experience. Laurent currently works as a Software Engineering Manager at Kalray, a role they began in August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Thales from 2015 to 2021, where they held various positions. Laurent served as a Software Technical Leader, acting as a consultant for Kalray and designing and deploying a Secure Boot on MPPA processor. Laurent also worked as a Team Manager, overseeing a team of 7 software engineers and handling professional development, performance reviews, and recruitment. Before that, Laurent was a Software Technical Leader at Thales for Fresenius Kabi, where they designed, developed, and maintained software embedded in volumetric pumps. Laurent also served as an Embedded Software Engineer at Thales for Trixell, where they designed and developed software embedded into x-ray detectors for medical imaging systems.
Laurent Bouchot also has experience outside of Thales. Laurent worked as an Engineer apprentice in Embedded Software at Schneider Electric from 2011 to 2014, and as an Intern in Software Engineering at American Power Conversion in 2013. Additionally, they worked as an Automation Technician at ABS ALTO for a few months in 2011.
Laurent Bouchot completed their Engineer's degree in Electronic and Information Technology from Polytech Grenoble from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they obtained a DUT degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I). In addition to their formal education, Laurent obtained the certification of Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in March 2022.
