Patrice Gerin

Patrice Gerin has extensive work experience in the field of embedded software engineering. They started their career at Teamlog in December 2000 and worked as an Embedded Software Engineer until August 2005. Patrice then pursued further education and joined TIMA as a PhD student in September 2005, where they remained until September 2009. In October 2009, Patrice joined Kalray as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer/Software Engineer. Most recently, they worked as a Principal Application Engineer at Tiempo Secure from May 2021 to February 2022.

Patrice Gerin received their education in the field of micro and nano electronics. Patrice began their academic journey at Briffaut Valence, where they obtained a BTS degree in Electronics from 1994 to 1996. Following this, they attended Le Mans Université, where they completed a Deug degree in Embedded Software, Processor, and Signal Processing from 1996 to 1997. Patrice further pursued their studies in the same field and obtained a Licence degree from Le Mans Université from 1997 to 1998. Patrice Gerin then completed a Maitrise degree in Embedded Software, Processor, and Signal Processing at Le Mans Université from 1998 to 1999. Continuing their education, they enrolled at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) and received a Master Recherche 2 degree in Micro and Nano Electronics from 2005 to 2006. Finally, Patrice Gerin concluded their educational background by pursuing a PhD at Grenoble INP - UGA, specializing in Micro and Nano Electronics from 2006 to 2009.
