Mike van der Heijden

Mike van der Heijden currently serves as Analytical Manager at Kalsec Inc. since October 2023, previously holding the title of Senior Analytical Scientist. Prior experience includes roles at IFF from September 2018 to October 2023, encompassing positions such as Sr. Scientist I, Research Investigator, and Research Scientist, with a focus on analytical method development. Before that, Mike worked at Eurofins Food Testing Netherlands from November 2016 to September 2018, where responsibilities included serving as ComLIMS key user and conducting contaminant analyses. Additional experience includes a role as Moderator for a MOOC at Wageningen UR and an internship at NIZO food research. Mike holds a Master of Science in Molecular Nutrition and Toxicology and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Health from Wageningen University & Research.
