John W.

John W. is a prominent figure in the crypto and finance sectors, currently serving as the Head of Crypto at Kalshi since January 2025, aiming to establish prediction markets as a trusted financial infrastructure. As the Cofounder and CEO of Armor Labs from January 2022 to January 2024, John W. led efforts to make finance open and programmable, successfully raising $17 million and processing billions in deposits prior to acquisition. In addition, John W. contributed as a Fellow at Paradigm in 2022 and worked in product development at Immutable, the largest Australian crypto company focused on NFTs and gaming, in 2021. John W. pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, where involvement included serving as President of the Penn Blockchain, before ultimately deciding to drop out to focus on opportunities in the crypto space.
