Timothy McDermott

Timothy McDermott has a long and varied work history. Timothy began their career in 1990 as an Associate and Partner at Gardner, Carton & Douglas. In 2003, they became a Director and Compliance Counsel at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. In 2008, they took on the roles of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Risk Officer, General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Officer at Nadex. In 2015, they became a Member at IrishAngels. In 2020, they became a Public Director at Kalshi. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Fellow at the University of Notre Dame Inspired Leadership Initiative (ILI).

Timothy McDermott attended the University of Notre Dame from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Accounting. Timothy then passed the Illinois CPA Exam in 1984. Timothy attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a Doctor of Law (JD).
