Guy Elkayam

Guy Elkayam has a diverse work experience in various engineering, management, and support roles. Guy started their career in the Israeli Air Force as an Operation Shift Commander, where they provided support to software developers and trained personnel on IT and operation procedures. Following their military service, they joined Xpert as a Professional Services Support & System Administrator, where they managed IT services for customers and supported various systems. Guy then worked at CastUP Israel LTD as a Senior System Administrator/Engineer, where they installed, configured, and maintained service solution servers and automated processes using scripts and package installers. After that, they joined Better Place (via Intensity) as a Configuration Manager & Solution Application IT Engineer, where they deployed and managed software environments and optimized automation processes. Guy then moved to PlayWise as a Configuration and Release Manager, leading a team and supporting both Windows and Linux systems. In their next role at Kaltura, Guy took on various positions, including Senior Production DevOps Engineer, DevOps Engineering Team Leader, Principal Production Engineer, and Principal Engineer, Professional Services, EMEA & APAC. These roles involved running and optimizing the Kaltura Open Video Platform and Over The Top (OTT) saas, creating solutions in various configurations, and leading engineering teams. Currently, Guy holds the position of Principal Platform Engineer at Kaltura, where they work on engineering the platform to better serve customers by utilizing various technologies and infrastructure configurations.

Guy Elkayam earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Management from Ha'Universita Ha'Petuha between 2006 and 2016.
