Shai Sivan

Shai Sivan has an extensive work experience in the field of information security. In their current role as VP Information Security, Privacy & CISO at Kaltura, they oversee security and privacy measures. Prior to this, they served as Head of Cyber Architecture, Engineering & Research group at Defence & Space from 2016 to 2021. At Bank Hapoalim, they were a Senior Lead Information Security Architect, responsible for directing IT, R&D, and business units in information security. Shai also worked as an Information Security Monitoring Lead at Partner Communications Company Ltd - Orange & 012 Smile and as a Security Specialist at the U.S. Department of State. Overall, Shai Sivan has demonstrated expertise in managing information security in complex IT environments and has a strong background in risk assessments and policy development.

Shai Sivan completed an Executive MBA from Bar-Ilan University in 2012-2013. Prior to that, from 2009-2011, Shai earned a B.A in social science from Bar-Ilan University. In the same period, Shai also studied information security with a focus on CISO at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Moreover, Shai attended IDF Junior Command Military Academy from 1996-2000.
