James M. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. James began their career at Healys LLP as a Trainee Solicitor, where they gained experience in commercial and intellectual property law. James then worked as a Solicitor, advising on a wide range of commercial agreements and assisting with transactional matters.

After their time at Healys, James joined BMJ as a Lawyer, handling various legal issues for the company and its subsidiaries. James later took on the role of Senior Lawyer, where they not only continued their legal work but also managed a team of lawyers and external counsel. Eventually, they were promoted to General Counsel and Company Secretary, overseeing multiple legal workstreams and providing strategic influence.

James then moved on to Livi, where they served as the Head of Legal. In this role, they developed the UK legal function, focusing on establishing the appropriate legal and governance framework to support rapid expansion and commercial projects during a challenging period for the healthcare industry.

Currently, James is the Head of Legal at Kaluza. As a senior leader, they are responsible for managing the full range of legal affairs across the company's territories and leads a team in Risk and Compliance.

Throughout their career, James has demonstrated a commercial and pragmatic approach to problem-solving and has proven to be an effective leader in various legal roles.

James M. completed their education at Old Swinford Hospital from 1996 to 2001. James then attended the University of Leeds from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Philosophy. Following that, they studied at the College of Law - York from 2004 to 2005, obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Law. Finally, James completed their education at the College of Law - York in 2005-2006, where they earned a degree in Legal Practice Course.
