Steven Wann

Steven Wann currently serves as the Sr Director of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement at KalVista Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since April 2024. Prior to this role, Steven held positions including Director of Procurement at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals from January 2020 to March 2024 and Associate Director of ESO Procurement at Novartis from February 2018 to January 2020. Steven’s career includes significant experience at Shire, where responsibility encompassed end-to-end management of contract manufacturing organizations supporting major franchises, and earlier roles at Baxalta and Sigma-Aldrich, focusing on category management and procurement. Steven's background also features a scientific foundation through a progression from Scientist to various procurement roles, coupled with teaching experience in general biology at Southwestern Illinois College. Academically, Steven holds an MBA from Webster University and advanced degrees in biology and genetic engineering from Southern Illinois University. Additionally, licensure in practical nursing has been established through the Beck Vocational Nursing Program.
