Smarak Mohanty

Smarak Mohanty holds extensive experience in the steel and metals industry, currently serving as Associate Vice President - Projects at KALYANI STEELS LIMITED since August 2024. Previously, Mohanty was the Head of Program Management at MSPL Limited, contributing significantly to corporate strategy and representing the company in the FICCI India. Earlier roles at Tata Steel included Lead positions in Engineering & Project management for coke and iron projects, along with experience at Vedanta Resources in smelter expansion projects. Mohanty holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha.
