Kalani Bright

Kalani Bright is an accomplished Solutions Engineer and Design Lead at Kamehameha Schools since November 2017, specializing in server-side software, web, and mobile applications, particularly for the Kanaeokana initiative aimed at renormalizing `Ōlelo Hawai`i. Prior experience includes a role as a Java Developer at American Well, where Kalani contributed to online telehealth solutions, and as an E-Commerce Engineer at Slacker Radio, Inc., involved in building Java/Spring REST APIs for payment processing and architectural guidance. Additional expertise includes multimedia programming at iDriveSafely, flash engineering at Chumby Industries, and video application development at Eyespot. Kalani holds a Master’s degree in Learning Design & Technology from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Game Art & Design from the Art Institute of California - San Diego.
