Helen Yannakoudakis

Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Kinhub

Helen Yannakoudakis has a diverse work experience in various academic and research positions. Helen is currently working as an Assistant Professor at King's College London since September 2019. Prior to this, they co-founded Kinhub in 2020 and served as the Chief Scientific Officer.

Helen Yannakoudakis has also been associated with the University of Cambridge, where they held multiple roles. Helen was a Visiting Researcher from 2013 onwards and an Affiliated Lecturer from 2017 to September 2019. Helen also served as a Senior Research Associate from October 2014 to September 2017 and as a Research Associate from October 2013 to September 2014.

In addition, Helen Yannakoudakis worked as a Newton Trust Teaching Fellow at Girton College, University of Cambridge, from October 2014 to September 2017. Helen also gained experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cambridge English Language Assessment from November 2012 to October 2013.

Helen Yannakoudakis began their academic journey at the University of Cambridge as a PhD student from October 2009 to October 2012.

Helen Yannakoudakis pursued their education in computer science, specializing in natural language processing. Helen began their academic journey at Athens University of Economics and Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from 2004 to 2008. Helen then furthered their studies at the University of Cambridge, completing an Mphil in Computer Science from 2008 to 2009. Helen'spassion for the field continued, and they went on to earn a PhD in Natural Language Processing from the University of Cambridge, spanning from 2009 to 2012.
