Chris Bland is a seasoned pharmacy professional with extensive experience in operational management and compliance roles. Since May 2017, Chris has served as Chief Operations Officer and Responsible Person (MHRA) at Kamsons Pharmacy, overseeing a high-demand pharmacy in Leeds while also acting as Data Protection Officer. In addition to this role, Chris is currently the Chair of Community Pharmacy South Yorkshire and previously held the position of Chairperson for the Rotherham Local Pharmaceutical Committee from August 2014 to July 2023. Chris has also contributed as a School Governor at Castleford Academy and served as Superintendent Pharmacist and Responsible Person at McGill Pharmacy from August 2006 to May 2017. Chris's career began with various positions at Boots UK, culminating in a Group Store Manager role. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from The University of Manchester, completed in 1997.

Kamsons pharmacy is a family run, award-winning group of over 80 pharmacies based across England. The first pharmacy in the group was opened in Uckfield, Sussex over forty years ago.
