Tyler Yates

Tyler Yates is the current Head of Engineering at Kandji. Tyler has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at UC San Diego Extension, where they taught a Data Science & Visualization bootcamp, and as Lead Software Engineer, Enterprise Architecture at Strategic Insight.

Tyler began their career as Lead Software Engineer, Enterprise Architecture at BrightScope, where they assisted in the takeover of a new project and developed internal processes, tooling and documentation for quarterly analysis of financial advising firms and addresses for a wallet share platform. Tyler also led an internal training program/bootcamp to teach software development to data analysts.

In their current role at Kandji, Tyler is responsible for leading the engineering team and developing Kandji's products.

They are on a team with Amanda Townsend - Head of People, Sylvia LePoidevin - Head of Marketing, and Abraham Alvarez - Head of Product. Tyler Yates reports to Adam Pettit, Co-Founder & CEO.
