Frank Lavety

General Manager at Kandou

Frank joined Kandou in October 2018 as VP Operations responsible for building Kandou’s fabless manufacturing operations. In September 2019, Frank assumed the role of General Manager, leading engineering, manufacturing and the commercialization of Kandou’s products.

In 2001, Frank joined Wolfson Microelectronics, a fabless semiconductor startup based in Edinburgh, returning to the UK from Boston after 7 years with the medical device manufacturer Haemonetics Corporation. Wolfson successfully IPOed on the FTSE in 2003, eventually reaching a market cap of £1bn. During his 10 years at Wolfson, Frank established manufacturing capabilities to support revenues of $231m per annum. As VP Operations, he led a team capable of shipping billions of mixed signal ICs to the world’s largest consumer electronics brands, establishing Wolfson as a world leading brand in audio technologies.

In 2012, Frank joined Adlens Ltd, an Oxford University spinout, developing adaptive lens technologies used in AR/VR applications. During his 7 years at Adlens, he was SVP Operations, COO and CEO.

Frank has a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors and an MBA from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
