Susan Brown Sphr

Susan Brown, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Susan started their career at Batavia Public School District 101 as a Learning Center/Media Aide in 1986 and worked there until 1997. Following that, they joined Edward Hines Lumber as a Customer Service/Sales Support for the Window and Cabinet Division from 1997 to 1999. From 1999 to 2013, Susan worked as the Associate Director of Human Resources at Aurora University. Since 2013, they have been employed by Kane County as the Assistant Director of Human Resource Management.

Susan Brown, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they studied from 1967 to 1971. In 2006, Susan completed a Certification of Professional Human Resources (PHR) through the SHRM Learning Course. Later in their career, in 2014, they achieved a Certification of Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) from the SHRM Learning Systems/Northern Illinois University.
