Ricardo Nys

Ricardo Nys is an experienced engineering professional and founder of Nys Design & Engineering since October 2021, leading a team focused on innovative design solutions and technical services. Currently serving as a Senior Piping & Mechanical Designer at Kaneka Belgium NV and a Senior Piping Designer at Umicore, Ricardo Nys has contributed to significant projects involving natural gas and oxygen piping installations and the enhancement of existing systems. Previous roles include Piping Engineer at Sweco, Piping & Mechanical Consultant at SPOC Group, and Pipefitter at Stork, where a diverse range of competencies in pipeline design and maintenance were developed. Ricardo Nys holds a Graduate degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Thomas More University of Applied Sciences and an A2 degree in Piping/Fusion Welding from Vrij instituut voor Technish Onderwijs.
