Dean Wilkens

Dean Wilkens currently serves as a Technical Fellow at Kaney Inc. since October 2023. Prior to this role, Dean Wilkens was employed at Honeywell from June 1979 to March 2023, where responsibilities included serving as the Flight Controls Senior Chief Engineer, overseeing the design and certification of safety-critical flight control and display systems for various aircraft. Dean Wilkens also held the position of FAA Company DER, with approval authority for Safety Analysis and key safety standards. Dean Wilkens earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota between 1975 and 1979.
