Tyler Rinker

Director of Data Science at Kangarootime

Tyler Rinker has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Tyler is currently the Director of Data Science at Kangarootime since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Data Science at Anthology Inc from July 2020 to June 2022.

Tyler also worked at Campus Labs where they held different roles. Tyler was a Data Science Manager from September 2019 to July 2020, a Lead Data Scientist from December 2017 to September 2019, and a Data Scientist from July 2015 to December 2017.

Earlier in their career, Tyler worked as a Research Project Manager at the Center for Literacy and Reading Instruction from September 2012 to May 2015.

Tyler Rinker has a strong educational background. Tyler started their academic journey by attaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Elementary Education from Houghton University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Tyler then pursued further specialization by obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Childhood & Early Childhood Curriculum & Instruction from Buffalo State University, which they completed between 2005 and 2007.

To enhance their educational leadership skills, Tyler pursued a Certificate of Advanced Study (C.A.S.) in Educational Leadership from Buffalo State University, which they completed from 2007 to 2009. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, they embarked on a highly distinguished Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Curriculum, Instruction, and the Science of Learning at the University at Buffalo. Tyler successfully completed their extensive doctoral studies from 2010 to 2017. Additionally, they also hold a C.A.S. in Applied Statistical Analysis as part of their doctoral program.
