Aurelio Hooker

Aurelio Hooker has been in the media industry since 2008. In that time, they have held various roles. From 2008 to 2020, they worked at VUBIQUITY, where they held the roles of Media Operations Supervisor and Media Traffic Coordinator. As Media Operations Supervisor, they managed the Media Services team task with content acquisition, Catalog, processing, archiving of video and artwork content from major and independent studios. Aurelio was also the operational lead for special projects by providing daily status reporting, tracking assets, and coordinating with multiple departments including Content, Metadata, Encoding and QC, and Client Services to meet customer deadlines. As Media Traffic Coordinator, they were responsible for daily processing and management of digital assets (features, trailers, promotional spots) from all major and independent movie studios for Domestic and International affiliates, as well as content acquisitions of media from content providers, including Major and Independent studios. Aurelio also managed the archiving of content including organizing, cataloging, and tracking digital library and physical asset vault. In 2020, they began working at Kanopy as Manager, Content Operations.

Aurelio Hooker attended Unicosta Colombia from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Computer Networking and Telecommunications. Aurelio'sfield of study was Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
