Jussi-Pekka Hakkarainen

Jussi-Pekka Hakkarainen is an experienced Information Specialist currently employed at The National Library of Finland since February 2018, and a PhD student at the University of Turku since January 2012. Hakkarainen has a background in translation, having worked as a freelance translator of Czech language since 2004. Previous positions include Tarkastaja at Liikennevirasto / Trafikverket / Finnish Transport Agency, Project Manager and various roles as Information Specialist at the National Library of Finland, as well as Librarian at the English School. Jussi-Pekka holds an MA in Czech language and culture from the University of Helsinki and a BA & MA in History from Turun yliopisto, with ongoing PhD studies in General history.
