Satu Niininen

Satu Niininen is an experienced information specialist at The National Library of Finland, with a background in electronic resources, metadata formats, national bibliography, classification, indexing, and ontology construction. They have also worked as a translator, translating General Finnish ontology into English and creating mappings between YSO and Library of Congress Subject Headings. Prior to their current role, they served as an assistant librarian and services secretary at Käännöstoimisto Turbiini. Niininen holds a Master of Arts degree in Translation studies from the University of Tampere.
