Leah Fliter

Leah Fliter has extensive experience in governmental relations and advocacy, currently serving as Assistant Executive Director and previously as Director of Governmental Relations at the Kansas Association of School Boards since June 2020. Prior to this, Leah held the position of Advocacy and Outreach Specialist at the same organization from June 2016 to June 2020. Leah's background includes a decade-long role as Director of Advocacy and Outreach at the Kansas Farm Bureau, where efforts focused on policy development and member engagement. Earlier career experiences include a Staff Writer position at The Manhattan Mercury, consulting for DeHart and Darr Associates, and various legislative roles within trade associations. Leah earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Maryland.
