Lesley Selvidge has a diverse work experience history. They have recently worked as a Community Engagement & Training Specialist at the Kansas Children's Service League since December 2022. Before that, they held the position of Development and Volunteer Coordinator at ICT SOS from December 2021 to November 2022. Lesley also worked at the Child Advocacy Center of Sedgwick County as an Online Communications and Outreach professional from August 2019 to January 2022. Prior to that, they owned and operated their own business, House of Hepburn, as a Cosmetologist from August 2015 to August 2019. Lesley also worked as an Artist/Educator at Aquage from May 2014 to August 2019. Their earliest work experience includes working as a Senior Stylist and Long Hairdressing Specialist at Eric Fisher Salon from November 2009 to July 2015, where they specialized in advanced hair cutting and coloring techniques and also developed workshop curriculums.
Lesley Selvidge began their education journey in 2008 at the Eric Fisher Academy, where they obtained a License of Cosmetology, State of Kansas, specializing in cosmetology. After completing their cosmetology studies, they pursued further education and enrolled at Cowley College from 2019 to 2020. During this time, Lesley earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Building upon their academic achievements, Lesley is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology at the University of Northern Colorado, which they began in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023.
