Dani Welniak

Dani Welniak has a diverse work experience in sports media and communications. Dani currently serves as the Executive Director of Communications at KC Current since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at KCTV/KSMO/tv from 2016 to 2022, initially as a Sports Anchor/Reporter from June 2016 to August 2017 and later as the Sports Director from August 2017 to July 2022. Dani also worked as a Color/Sideline Reporter at Chiefs Radio Network from August 2016 to September 2019. Dani also gained experience as the Fox Football Radio Network Color Analyst at CUMULUS MEDIA from August 2016 to June 2022. In addition, they briefly worked as a Radio Color Analyst at Pikewood Creative in December 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked at KWCH 12 (Sunflower Broadcasting, Inc.) as a Sports Anchor/Reporter from June 2013 to June 2016 and as a Sports Reporter/Anchor - Bureau from May 2011 to June 2013. Dani even served as a Professional Football Player for the Dallas Diamonds - Women's Professional Full Contact Football from July 2007 to August 2011. Dani also had a freelance role at ESPN from May 2010 to May 2011.

Dani Welniak attended Oklahoma State University from 2009 to 2011. Dani earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Broadcasting with a focus on Sports Media, a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism, and an Associate of Science degree in Zoology/Animal Biology.
