David Spaite is an experienced chaplain currently serving at Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care since July 2020. Prior to this role, David completed a Chaplain Residency at Research Medical Center from September 2018 to May 2020. David has a diverse background in hospitality, having worked as a Server and Lead Trainer at Jack Stack Barbecue from December 2013 to January 2021, and held management responsibilities as General Manager at Roti Modern Mediterranean from July 2012 to October 2013. In addition, David served as a Church Relations Representative at Nazarene Publishing House from July 2011 to April 2012 and began a career in hospitality in various roles at Jack Stack Barbecue from November 2007 to July 2011. Academically, David holds a Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University.

Solace House is the Midwest’s premier center for grief and healing. Passages offers counseling for those experiencing complicated grief, a difficult life transition or healing from trauma and loss. Camp Erin and Camp Carousel are weekend grief camps for children and families.
